Hello, my fellow DFS Enthusiast, and thanks for checking out my website!
I’m Jay Blazejewski, a lifelong resident of the chilly but beautiful state of Minnesota. The Twin Cities is {one of the few smaller cities} to host all four major sport franchises (NFL, MLB, NHL and NBA).
The world-renowned Hazeltine Golf Course (host of the 2016 Ryder Cup) also sits just minutes from my front door. I’m sure it goes without saying that sports is a huge passion of mine.
Why Fantasy?
I have been playing Fantasy Football for since 2002, and got into Daily Fantasy Sports in 2014. To me, there is nothing like the thrill of using researching skills to make the process of putting together winning lineups, and that has been the driving factor for creating this Podcast.
My style is a little different than others: I tend to take a contrarian approach to my lineup construction, and the results have been amazing Like any sports fan, I love competition—-so I want to help more people win each week.
More winning brings in more players, and more players makes more competition. The bottom line is we are all here to make money. Through many years of practice and careful analysis, I have developed an instinct for picking winning lineups that pay out consistently. Each week on this site, you can expect expert analysis to improve the scores (and hopefully take down a contest or two), based on: Each game, Who I like in each matchup , Which games to target for your game stacks , How to properly construct your lineup.
Please help us as we seek to build out an incredible show as a fully independent podcast, a show without a major network or it’s corporate backing and resources. MY STORY
My best friend helped me put together my first lineup in 1996, and I was hooked on Fantasy sports immediately. I spent the next 20 years studying and refining the art and science of choosing winning lineups.
Fast-forward to [insert date of win], where I won life changing money. A single lineup netted $380,000 and a trip to the San Diego Draftkings Fantasy Football Championships to compete for the biggest prize in fantasy sports history (first place would win $5 million dollars).
Only 200 people among the hundreds of thousands of participant get a qualifying ticket to compete in this Championship. So here I was, a blue-collar Truck-driver, competing with the biggest and best professionals in the industry. I held my own in the contest, finishing in the top-third (66th out of 200), much higher than some of those professionals (who had multiple entries and lineups).
Why this website?

The 2019 NFL season is just around the corner, and for DFS players, this is the time when there is a lot of data to sift through. My experience has taught me that there is a lot of “noise and chatter” out there, where some of those big professionals are going to be talking up players for you to invest your time and energy for your lineups. The dirty little secret is: these “professionals” have no intention of putting these “hot-shots” on their own rosters! Their goal isn’t to help you win, it’s to collect your money for their bogus advice. Don’t be fooled!
Here at Dfs Straight Talk I am fired up to equip the casual players with insightful data, that can help change your life, the way DFS has changed mine.
